Glass systems for terraces, balconies and restaurants

Close your terrace for winter and open it fully in summer. We make every system to the measurements taken on site and install it with our own team.

Frameless folding glazing

Tempered glass panels with no vertical profiles between them. They slide along a track and fold against the wall like an accordion, leaving the opening completely clear.

  • A view with no vertical frames
  • Opens fully, the panels stack to the side
  • Keeps out wind, rain and dust
  • Suits balconies, terraces and restaurants

Sliding glass systems

Large glass leaves that slide past each other on parallel tracks. A good choice for wide openings, verandas and winter gardens.

  • Slim aluminium profiles and plenty of light
  • Easy to open with one hand
  • Double glazing available for better insulation
  • Takes up no room when opened

Guillotine glass

The glass panels move up and down instead of sideways. It suits terraces with a parapet and restaurants that want to open their summer garden at the press of a button.

  • Opens vertically, with an electric drive
  • Open partly or fully, as you like
  • A modern look for restaurants and hotels
  • Works well together with a pergola

Winter gardens and verandas

A glazed structure with a roof that turns a terrace or part of the garden into a bright room. We combine it with sliding or folding glass walls.

  • Extra space without building work
  • Roof in double glazing or polycarbonate
  • Walls of sliding or folding systems

Frequently asked questions

How much does terrace glazing cost?

The price depends on the system, the size, the glass thickness and the profile colour. We give an exact price after the free survey. As a guide, frameless glazing starts at about €120 per m².

Do I need a permit to glaze my balcony?

In apartment buildings glazing changes the façade, so check the requirements of the owners' association and the municipality. During the survey we will tell you what is usually required in cases like yours.

How do I clean the outside of the glass?

With folding and sliding systems the panels open or slide aside, so you can reach the outside of the glass from the terrace.

Is a glazed terrace warmer in winter?

Yes. The glass stops wind and rain, so the terrace is warmer and drier. Single-glazed systems don't replace an insulated wall, though. If you want to use the space as a room, we recommend a sliding system with double glazing or a winter garden.
