Frequently asked questions
How much does an external roller shutter cost?
The price depends on the size, the slats, the box and the operation. Send us the sizes for a rough price; you get the exact one after the free measuring.
Can it be fitted to existing windows?
Yes. The external box is mounted above the window or in the opening, with no demolition and no need to replace the windows.
Manual or motorised?
For small windows a strap is all you need. For large doors, heavy shutters or if you want a remote and schedules, we recommend a motor.
What happens in a power cut?
The shutter stays where it is. An emergency manual override is available if needed.
Do they protect against burglary?
A lowered shutter makes the window harder to reach and deters break-ins. For more security we recommend extruded slats and an anti-lift lock.
